In Session Four of the Uncovering the Voice Workshop Series we explore the Vowels and the three main colors of the voice that give us a broad range of expression from light and fine to warm and flowing to dark and rich.

Join us for Winter Wassailing: a FREE program in partnership with Rogue World Music.

Folk traditions like Wassailing were born out of a time when all people sang as part of daily life. We invite you to come experience singing in community, lifting each other up with our voices, making a joyful noise!

We will meet for 5 weeks to learn Winter, Christmas, New Year’s and traditional Wassailing songs. All ages and voices are welcome.

With music in our hearts and rhythms in our feet we will serenade the community, in two public street events, a Farm Wassail, and later going door to door offering blessings of health and happiness for the New Year. I hope you can join us. Bring your family.

Wassailers sing at the Fry Family Farm. Free Community Event. Come be part of the ancient tradition of singing to bless the land for the New Year. Dress warmly and ready for weather. Tamales and other hot food for sale plus hot apple cider to toast the health of the land. Family friendly event.

Session Two of our Uncovering the Voice Workshop Series focusses on “Sound Leading” or learning how to use the natural resonance of our body as instrument so the sound flows through us with no effort, force, or pushing. We will continue to build on the foundation we created in Session One: Instrument Building.

If you missed Session One you can still join by taking a private lesson or group review class before Sept 14th to learn the basics of deep, relaxed breathing that is the foundation of Uncovering the Voice.
